The River Art Project opens June 21, 2019 with an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Stockbridge Station. This is the third annual exhibit curated by Jim Schantz to help focus attention on the Housatonic River and the many people and organizations who work to protect the river and environs. The participating artists are Bart Elsbach, Mary Sipp Green, Michael Filmus, Scott Prior, Jim Schantz. and Ann Getsinger. The exhibit will run through the end of July, 2019. In 2015 Ann had the great pleasure of creating artwork for a new c-d called The Guest House by singer/ song-writer, Ellis. Two paintings inspired from experiencing the music were created for the collection, incorporating aspects of many of the songs. The images are available as limited edition prints.
